Ushering into the new year, I realised that I have yet to share with all of you how my trip to Macau + 1 day trip to HK went!!!
Definitely, one thing for sure is that Macau is definitely more scenic and pretty and is more peaceful since its not as bustling as HK.
The sceneries and architecture in Macau were really beautiful and for me personally, I feel like its a really great place for those who
love to snap away on their phones and cameras!
But not forgetting the main talk of this blogpost.... FOOOOOODDDDD. Lets begin shall we?
1. PORTUGUESE EGG TARTS BY LORD STOW BAKERY

These are by far the BEST egg tarts you can find in Macau, they are sold for 10HKD each which is about 2SGD. With a sweet caramelised top and a warm interior with a crispy crust. This is definitely a must- try.
Maybe even buying a few back after trying it!!!
The location that I bought from was the Venetian Macau Hotel although
you will practically see this bakery at a number of places.
2. Pork Bun in Portuguese Style

If you still do not know the existence of this delicacy then you are missing out on a lot!!!!
These little buns are famous in both Hong Kong and Macau and they contain a pork chop together with lettuce, tomato and some sauce.
The one I tried was at Studio City Macau and It tasted really good for a decent price of 34HKD.
This one was located near the Starbucks in Studio City although I could not remember the name of the shop sorry!!! They served the pork chop in 3 types of buns: soft bun, pineapple bun and Portuguese bun (the one in the pic!)
3. HK Michelin Kam's Roast Goose

At Hennessy Road, you will find this amazing treasure.
To be very honest, I had no idea how different a duck tasted from a goose until I tried goose at this place. With the title of michelin, of course there was waiting time...
The upside is, we didn't have to wait very long!! Eating here at about lunch hour only involved about a 20-30 minute wait!
*WARNING*
Please drink something warm when eating here because the goose is actually quite oily and the mistake on my part was drinking a cold drink along with my food resulting in some
nasty stomachaches.

CHAR SIEW!!! BBQ PORK WAS SO GOOD!

THE FAMOUS ROASTED GOOSE WHICH TASTED GREAT
4. GIANT MOCHI IN MACAU

This giant Mochi with a mango filling tasted extraordinary!!
In fact, its so big in size its the size of your palm literally.
We found this shop that sold a variety of mochi flavours when we walking through some of the alleys in Macau.
Although I didn't take note of the address,
here is how u can get there!
1. Cross the road from the entrance of Senado Square
2. Along that whole aisle of streets, you should turn right and keep your eyes peeled on the left alleys.
3.Walk straight into one of the alleys and this shop is found on the right side.
4. You will notice that there are stone sittings and trees outside of this shop!!!

5. HK EGGLETS ON THE STREETS

These street delicacies are a must try in Hong Kong!!!
They are pancake like and crispy on the edges, also they are plain on the inside!
A perfect warm snack to have while roaming the streets of HK!
Also they do not cost that much so you should definitely try them.
Truth to be told, egglets are so common that its not a very special food find but I really
enjoy eating it and thus I hope you do too!
Okay that is all I have for my TOP 5 must-trys! I hope you enjoyed looking and reading through it and I will see you guys soon!!!
Byeeee!!!!!
Love and Cheers,
Amanda
