*SPOILER ALERT* DO NOT SCROLL IF YOU HAVE YET TO WATCH BEAUTY AND THE BEAST
Hi guys! I am absolutely sorry there hasn't been a look book of the dresses I got from Zalora because I have been really busy with my part time job and coming home super late so there ain't time for me to do so. But, it will come as promised.
The post today is about my day out with my secondary school friends! Truly super thankful and blessed to have friends that have stuck by me for a very long time now and even though I did have the slightest worry that we will drift apart after leaving secondary school, we are still a close bunch after a year. And still going strong :'))
I have a review of 3 things for you guys today!
1. THE PROVIDORE
---- this is the place that my friends and I went to eat for our brunch! This place is located at Mandarin Gallery and is on the second level I believe! We simply took the escalator that was outside of the building and it led us right to it. We ordered an English Breakfast which cost us $20 and a Banana Pancake dish which was about $17 and shared it among the three of us. Honestly though, it is too expensive which is the downside of the place :( The English breakfast set was good but I mean an ordinary breakfast of sautéed mushrooms, sausages, eggs, toast and bacon can't be that big of deal can it?
---- However, I do have to commend on the pancakes because they were different compared to the usual pancakes that we normally eat. They were crispy on the edges and were thicker compared to like those in McDonalds for example which are rather thin. The banana with the maple syrup (I think) on the top when super well with it ! I would strongly recommend you to try it, but maybe not a whole thing by yourself since, like I said, its too expensive :(

2. Beauty and the Beast
---- Well, the main point of our outing was to catch this movie which everyone has been yearning to watch for a long time now.
Can I just say how I absolutely love how they made this movie with more details compared to the original, what you see in the movie is more details about the enchanted goddess which I feel was not really featured in the original movie and thus allowing the audience to understand better about his past before the prince became a beast.
---- Also, the most impactful to me was the ending part, it showed how the individuals like Cogsworth and Lumiere started to turn into antiques because the petal had fallen and Belle has yet to confess her love to the beast. But a miracle happened because the enchanted goddess saw it with her eyes that they both loved each other and thus brought the beast back to life.
---- What made this movie so great was how they twisted it to make it suited to the children of our generation. In this version of Beauty and the Beast, a lot of Belle's personality was being portrayed such as being courageous and creative and daring to be different. The scene where it shows how she wanted to escape from the castle using all the cloth tied together showed how creative she could be. In addition, it was also portrayed when she made a washing machine idea using the barrel and the donkey.
---- Lastly, we were brought to understand more about Belle's past, such as why she didn't have a mother. That was something that no one expected as it was never shown in the original.
I really enjoyed the movie and was glad to have watched it with my friends on the opening day!

3. ICELAB!!!
I am absolutely sure many of you have heard of or have eaten BINGSU (This is a Korean shaved ice dessert).
Well, have you always felt guilty of eating them and feeling like it is super unhealthy? Look no further because I have the perfect solution for you! My friends introduced me to this place called Icelab, a cafe that sells bingsu located close to 313 Somerset. We went there to try the yogurt bingsu and it was honestly the best thing ever.

Credits to Burpple.com for the image !!! Since mine was a boomerang and failed to upload here.
This yogurt bingsu flavour is out of this world!! The cornflakes are frosties and it comes with blueberries, strawberries and a strawberry ice-cream base. This is nothing like those chunky chocolate flavours. This is the real deal because its the first time I have eaten a bingsu that doesn't make me feel tired of eating after a few mouthfuls. This flavour costs $16 and its worth sharing with about 2 people since the portion is rather big.
Rating: 5/5 !!!!!!
not sure how to end this post but just thought I'll share with you that I had a feeling I would go home at the end of the day with a ton of shopping bags but I didn't! For some reason or another, there were honestly no nice clothing in all the shops I went sigh. What was supposedly a shopping day turned out to be a food-hopping day heh. But in all honesty, I LOVE FOOD!!!!
sTAY SWAG EVERYBODY SEE YALL SOON!
HEARTS AND KISSES,
aMAnDa
